I am not opposed to technology or the economic opportunities it can bring to West Virginia. I am opposed to the way our Republican state government is rushing to bring data centers into our communities.

Growth Without Corporate Giveaways

In 2025, the Republican majority passed HB 2014 to encourage the development of data centers in West Virginia. The bill takes power away from local communities, provides inadequate environmental protections, and creates costly incentives that amount to corporate welfare.
West Virginia should not hand out taxpayer-funded incentives while local communities are left to deal with the impacts on our water, electricity, roads, and natural resources.
As your delegate, I will oppose corporate handouts to data centers, protect West Virginia’s natural resources, and fight to restore local control. We can welcome new technology and economic development without giving corporations a blank check.
Our resources shouldn't fund corporate profits.
